Printing and finishing
Recent investment has seen the arrival of two new printing presses, the Heidelberg XL 105 + coating press as well as the Kodak Nexpress SX2700 with associated Duplo finishing equipment, Mimaki Large Format digital printer and Auto Bond 76TH Laminator
In essence, this has given John Good the platform to increase its capacity by investing in faster-running, more efficient machinery. The XL presses are market-leading printing presses and the most environmentally friendly in their class. The water-based coating unit removes the need for excessive spray powders, which can lead to a rough sandpaper feel on a printed product, providing instead a smooth satin feel. The built-in colour management system ‘impress control’, which has the ISO 12647 colour standard accreditation, is also calibrated back to the proof, ensuring consistent quality of colour throughout the whole print run. The print leaves the press virtually dry, enabling us to process your work efficiently.
Our two new folding machines enable us to provide different folding combinations as well as perfectly folded leaflets and brochures that will be representative of a quality service and product. The combination of this equipment will ensure John Good remains at the forefront of the printing industry, giving you peace of mind when it comes to a long-term business relationship with a key supplier.
